Florida!!!
It is honestly a miracle how much warm sunshine makes everything better! I was expiring from cabin fever due to the negative temperatures in Wisconsin so this trip was exactly what the doctor ordered. This was also my first time flying and traveling across the country solo. I seriously could become addicted to it! I am so grateful that my work brings me opportunities to explore new places, build connections, and challenge myself in growing more independent!
wedding recap
Second shooting for Lindsey Cole Photo is always a treat and it was wonderful to do it again in Florida! Jordan and Kevin's luxurious backyard wedding was aesthetically complete with parasols, orchids, swan details, and sparkling sunshine. Jordan embraced her bridal accessories with a Catholic veil, silk scarf, and a dress change later in the evening. Lindsey and I have so much fun putting together late night flat lays and then snacking on some cake afterwards. This will definitely be a gallery that serves for future inspo.
Clearwater Beach
Sunday morning was spent visiting downtown St. Petersburg and making a special stop at Paradeco Coffee. I loved walking along the waterfront, viewing the boats and saying to myself, "oh my gosh, I can't believe it's actually January!" I made a quick stop at Rick's Reef for some coconut shrimp then ventured further up the coast to Clearwater Beach. There is something healing about leisurely walking along the beach. At sunset, Paige and Anthony met me on the beach for a glowing photoshoot. The beach houses, white sand, striking sunset and this gorgeous couple made it impossible to take a bad picture. This is probably one of my favorite photoshoots ever.
Exploring Tampa
Monday blues are not a thing when you are getting brunch at the Oxford Exchange! Lindsey and I were able to catch up about life, take cute pictures, and appreciate the vibes of this location. Afterwards, I headed to Hyde Park to do some window shopping and grab some coffee at Buddy Brew. I was able to do lots of walking on the river walk, pick up more shrimp at Big Rays Fish Camp, and soak in downtown before my evening flight back home. It the perfect weekend getaway to help with the winter photography
/ mental health slump.
