Girls in White Dresses with Blue Satin Sashes...

As a photographer, I have seen so many different wedding aesthetics and details uniquely suited to match each couple's vision. Your wedding should look exactly the way you want and that is the only opinion that truly matters. However, if you are looking for ideas on how to make your day classy and create beautiful photo moments, then this post is for you. I also share a lot of inspo on my social media pages that I think matches my photography style wonderfully. Hopefully, this post gives you some ideas to help create the wedding day and gallery of your dreams!

Sunlit Table Decor

I love detailed table decor with stunning place settings and florals. Now throw in sunlight glimmering off your glassware and I am in heaven. Your photos will be so beautiful and almost ethereal.

Live Music

There is something so classy about live music for your ceremony and cocktail hour. I've seen string quartets, brass trios, grand pianos and jazz groups perform for weddings and it is so beautiful.

Champagne Tower

I mean when else are you going to get to pour champagne onto an elegantly  stacked tower of glasses like you are at one of Gatsby's parties? It's such a fun moment for you and your love.

Dramatic veils / trains

You will look so regal walking down the aisle with a long veil or train flowing behind you. Also, the bridal portraits I can capture will be insane and make you look epic!

Venues with natural light

Venues with plenty of windows are my  favorite. I do love a good flash moment but softer natural lighting is so lovely. Even if we have to spend all day inside due to weather, big windows allow for some striking portraits.

Real Flowers

I know there are lots of alternatives out there but in my opinion nothing beats real flowers. The colors, scents, and just how they photograph is superior. Also, the preservation artwork that can be made with your wedding bouquet afterwards is absolutely insane.

Checkered Board / Monogrammed Dance Floors

These add wonderful dimension to your reception photos and are so stylish. Your wedding planner can help you find rentals that will make your venue space really pop!

Bridal Accesories

You only get to be a bride once so might as well go all out! I personally love parasols, fans, long scarves, designer sunglasses etc. These also elevate your bridal portraits and give us some fun prompts!

Candlelit Dinners

It doesn't get more romantic than candlelight. This will create an ambiance to your reception that is intimate and elegant.

dress change

Now she is a party bride! Not only do dress changes give you more comfort on the dance floor, but we get to take more fun flash bridal portraits.

Signiture cocktails

This is a great chance to add your own personal touch on your wedding festivities. It's your party so of course you should be sipping your favorite drink all night long!

getaway car

Okay, this is such a fun photo moment! It's also super special if it's a vintage car belonging to a family member. We can continue tradition by recreating  a few of your parents' or grandparents' wedding photos.

Late night details

These are so much fun and I have loved creating these flat lays. It's another level of artistry for your gallery and uniquely displays your well planned details.
